Hosted MCP server

Slack MCP Server

Give your AI the power to post messages and read through the Slack API, through one hosted MCP server you do not have to install or run. UniversalBench is the server: connect one URL and your AI gets Slack plus every other capability, with safety built in. Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and any MCP-compatible AI.

You do not have to host a Slack MCP server

There are open source Slack MCP servers you can download, configure, and run yourself, one capability at a time. UniversalBench takes that off your plate. It is a hosted MCP server, so there is nothing to install, nothing to keep running, and the same single connection also covers databases, code, web search, GitHub, files, and more.

Set up the Slack MCP server in three steps

Connect the one MCP URL

Add the single UniversalBench MCP URL to your AI: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any MCP-compatible client. That one server carries this capability and every other.

Save your credential once

Create a Slack incoming webhook (or a bot token to read), then save it in your secret vault as SLACK_WEBHOOK_URL. It unlocks the matching capability automatically and is never shown again.

Ask in plain language

Ask for what you want. The work runs on the hosted server and only the result returns to your chat.

# one hosted MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini https://universalbench-mcp.penantiaglobal.workers.dev/u/<your-key> # save your credential once in the secret vault SLACK_WEBHOOK_URL = https://hooks.slack.com/services/...
UniversalBench secret vault: secret name on the left, secret value on the right, then save
Any credential goes in your secret vault once: the secret name on the left, the secret value on the right, then Save.

See the Slack MCP server in action

A real example. You ask in plain language and your AI posts to Slack through the hosted server, using a secret you saved once.

You Post a short heads-up to our #releases channel that v2.1 just shipped. Your AI, through UniversalBench compose the message post to #releases using your saved secret posted → the message appears in Slack

To post, you save a Slack incoming webhook once as the secret value. To read or act through the Slack API, save a bot token instead. Either way it stays in your secret vault and never appears in the chat.
